Behavioral Expectations from Students

We believe that student development occurs best within an atmosphere of mutual respect and, therefore, any behavior that undermines this respect cannot be allowed.  Teachers and staff members will not tolerate any behavior that materially interferes with or is detrimental to the orderly operation of the school, school-sponsored activities or any other aspect of educational process.

School jurisdiction includes student conduct to and from school, at school, at bus stops, on buses, and at any school sponsored activity. Such acts, including but not limited to those listed here, shall be subject to disciplinary actions, including suspension and/or expulsion from school.

Parents/Guardians/Students are hereby informed to read and follow general rules and regulations mentioned below.

Discipline

• Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind may result in the removal of a student from the school.

• Minimum 85% attendance is compulsory for promotion to higher standard.

• Students are not allowed to use cell phones, iPods or other personal electronic devices during school. Violation will result in confiscation.

• Fill the Application form with proper care giving all details.

• Messages received for students will be delivered to the student only in emergency situations.

• School property, willfully damaged or destroyed will have to be made good. In addition a heavy fine may also be imposed.

• Use of unfair means and/or possession of unauthorized material in any examination will result in the annulment of a student's entire term results. Any student who renders unfair assistance to another is equally culpable and will therefore share in the punishment. Due weight age will be given to each term's assessments for deciding promotion to the next higher class. Repetition of such offence will result in the automatic removal of the offender's name from the school rolls.

• Every student must be in possession of School Diary on every working day. Non-compliance with this rule may debar them from attending school for the day.

• Students are expected to exhibit conduct which is courteous, co-operative, and responsible and which displays regard for the safety and welfare of others.

• Students are responsible for being prepared for classes; i.e., bring appropriate and necessary materials to class on daily basis.
